Cherish Soul

A roll of cling film, and a drawer that wouldn't close.

Every kitchen has the drawer. Half a roll of cling film that tears the wrong way, foil folded and refolded, a few bags kept "for later". We wanted something for the everyday jobs — the cut onion, the half loaf, the bowl of leftover rice — that we could wash and use again.

Beeswax wraps aren't new. People have been waxing cloth to cover food for a very long time. What we cared about was the small stuff: sizes that actually fit the bowls in a normal cupboard, a coating that holds without leaving wax on your hands, and edges cut so they don't fray.

So Cherish Soul sells one thing. A set of three wraps, in three prints. That's the whole range, and we'd like to keep it that way for a while.

What we won't say

That wraps will save the planet, or that they replace every container. They're good at some jobs. We'd rather you use them for those.

What's in them

Cotton, beeswax, pine resin, jojoba oil. The resin is what makes them cling; the oil keeps them soft.
